Wine

There are over 100 wineries and vineyards in the Finger Lakes Wine Country, the largest wine growing region in New York State.

 

We recommend the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail (Aurora Inn is on Cayuga Lake on the Eastern Side of the Lake. It is six minutes North of Long Point Winery on the map for reference) and Seneca Lake Wineries. 

 

We recommend to plan your day of wine tasting ahead of time by calling the wineries you are interested in visiting and making appointments for your tastings. This is especially helpful if you are going with a large group of poeple or want to ensure a smooth day of tasting. 

 

There are companies that you can go through to book transportation for tours or drive yourself around which is what I would do.
